Mary Smith

Mary is a Strength Specialist. She is best friend of Kate and Nex's girlfriend. She was a student of the Laguna University for Specialists and Fairies. She became a kindergarten teacher after she graduated.

1. Appearance

Mary is a grey-skinned girl with brown eyes. She has dark brown short hair and usually tied up as twin tails. She usually wears an innocent smile on her face. Her clothes are usually very outdated.

2. Personality

Mary grew up in an overprotective family. She also lived in a faraway village. Therefore, she has little knowledge of the storms of manhood, like a 3 years old child.

Mary is innocent, very sweet and passionate. She sees everyone's good. She also loves to make friends as she had no chance to meet new friends when she was in her hometown. She then becomes fond of parties and will love to join every of them if she can.

Mary usually does poor on battle as she is afraid of getting hurt. Therefore, she chooses to escape or ask for help in a fight.

3. Ability

Mary is a Pure-blooded Strength Specialist. She can use tremendous strength. She also has enhanced stamina, agility and durability. She has natural talent in close, 1-on-1 combat. She can be a good fighter but she does not like fighting as she is afraid of getting hurt.

Kate learnt Sound in Year 2 & 3. She can use music to affect enemies' behavior in a fight. She is very talented in aware of other's need and teaching. She acquired the Teaching Certificate (0-12 years) before she graduates.

4. Series

Childhood

Mary grew up in an overprotective family. She lived in a faraway village and her elementary and high schools have only 13 students, who know each other before going to school. Therefore, she has little knowledge of the storms of manhood, like a 3 years old child.

Mary knew she is a Pure-blooded Strength Specialist when she was little. But this did not bother her much as most of the children in the village were Pure-blooded Specialist/Fairies.

Pre-series

Mary decided to apply for Laguna as she wanted to challenge herself. As most of the children in her village chose to go to normal university or work, her parents opposed her choice. However, she insisted, took and passed the entrance exam. Her parents then allowed her to go to Laguna.

Year 1

Mary got into Laguna and shared a dorm suite with Rune, Akari and Kate. She shared a room with Kate. On the school opening ceremony, everyone needed to verify their attributes and bloodline using the Stone Circle. Kate verified she is a Pure-blooded Strength Specialist.

Mary joined a lot of parties and club activities in the beginning of the semester. She seldom stayed in the dorm. Consequently, her roommates got familiar with each other and usually hanged out without her. Mary realized this later and was very upset.

In the middle of the semester 1, Rune and Akari become fond of battle and fighting club. They usually left Kate behind as they disliked Kate's performance in a fight. Kate felt so lonely and upset about this. Mary took her to many parties.

In the first Battle Examination, Mary was frightened and tried to escape from the fight, which make her failed the examination and had to retake the examination. She asked Rune and Akari for help as they were the top in Battle. They started to train Mary. She then became familiar with her roommates and started to arrange dorm activities and parties after passing the exam.

In a party, Kate saw Peter taking drugs with his friends. She was very shocked and threw his drug away, making Peter beat her. Mary was furious as Kate was injured and told the teachers, resulting in Peter was suspended for half a year.

Mary with her roommates, Theodore and Nex stood out for Rune when schoolmates and teachers believed that the Ancient Armies and the Burned Ones were summoned by Rune.
